On 6th June 1944, the Normandy went down in History by becoming the largest battle field of every time.
As a real open-air museum, the Historical Area for the Normandy's battle gets together all the sites, museums and memory places related to the D Day and its following offensive onto the three Calvados, manche and Orne departments.
